This question authorized the County of Meigs to increase property taxes by 0.5 mills ($0.5 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund Senior Citizens Services and Facilities.[1]

| “ | An additional tax for the benefit of Meigs County for the purpose of Providing and Maintaining Senior Citizens Services
or Facilities for the elderly citizens of Meigs County (specifically through the Meigs County Council on Aging, Inc., Multipurpose Senior Citizens Center) at a rate not exceeding .5 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to five cents ($0.05) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.[1][2] |
