Melanie Kenderdine
Melanie Kenderdine is the New Mexico Secretary of Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources. Kenderdine assumed office on May 8, 2024. Kenderdine's current term ends on January 1, 2027.
New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) appointed Kenderdine the New Mexico secretary of energy, minerals, and natural resources on April 29, 2024, to replace Sarah Cottrell Propst.[1]
Biography
Melanie Kenderdine’s career experience includes working as co-founder, Principal, and Executive Vice President of the Energy Futures Initiative. She also worked at the U.S. Department of Energy in the Obama and Clinton administrations.[2]
