Melanie Meier (b. August 25, 1967) is a former Democratic member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 41 from 2010 to 2015. Meier did not seek re-election in 2014.

Biography

Meier earned her B.S. in economics from the University of Kansas in 1989 and her M.S. in management from Troy State University in 1998. She has served in the United States Army Reserve.[1]

Meier won re-election in the 2012 election for Kansas House of Representatives District 41. She ran unopposed in the August 7 Democratic primary and defeated incumbent Jana Goodman (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3]
