Melanie Mito May

Melanie Mito May is a judge on the O`ahu First Circuit District Court in Hawaii. She was appointed by Chief Justice Mark Recktenwald in April 2011 and was confirmed by the Hawaii Senate before taking office.[1][2]
Education
May earned a B.S. from Santa Clara University and a J.D. from Hastings College of Law in 1996.[1][3]
Career
May has spent her legal career in private practice, working at Marr Jones and Wang from 1997 until her appointment. Prior to that she was a law clerk for Judge Kevin S.C. Chang and to Judge Daniel G. Heely.[3]
May also had nine years of experience as an arbitrator with the Court Annexed Arbitration Program.[1]
