I am a native Utahan. I am married to Darren. We have been married 21 years. I am a mother of 2 beautiful daughters, Lindsey 32, and Reagan 18. Reagan graduated from Kearns High School in June 2022 and is attending her first year of college at the University of Utah. I was president of her drill teams Booster club her Junior and Senior years. I donated many hours to help these girls. Lindsey just had a baby in July, so I am a grandmother for the first time. I am a teacher. I have been teaching for 22 years. I have a unique quality of being not only of a parent, but also a teacher. I can see both sides of education. I want what is best for students in Granite District.
  • I stand with and for parents!
  • I am a parent and a teacher.
  • I will NOT be a rubber stamp for what the board wants!
I am passionate about making sure our school libraries are free from material that has explicate sexual content. There are titles of books that should not be in our school libraries. I want to make sure there is transparency for parents to know what material is in their child’s library. I will make sure parents know what their child’s options are for checking out books. If there is a book on the list then the parent will make it known their child cannot check that book out. Better yet, we need to take books out of the libraries that are not appropriate for children.
