|I'm a Free-Market Capitalist (not to be confused with our present-day Corporatism and Government controlled communities). I believe in God, and I believe in my fellow people. I have grown distrust for my government.
Marshall U Dual-Degree 2016 Grad- Why vote for me? I'm a totally average, working-class person. I'm a miner's daughter in a military family who grew up in a region where all my friends lived in deep poverty. Many still do. Growing up I always wanted to run away from WV, you know? Many kids here are shown/told they're not good enough to dream of things outside of tourism or coal, but the ideas that live in our minds here in WV are astonishing! I want to support individuals in reaching their heights and I feel the best chance I have is this race. Small business owners and accessible entrepreneurial opportunity for the lower class/wage makers in my state is something I believe would not only help to uplift the lower class but expand our local economies.
- Why vote for me? I value people more than money. I value all living things more than money. I acknowledge money is essential to bettering situations, but I also acknowledge our government regularly increasing taxes, causing artificial inflations, and honestly, the public simply isn't getting our return on investment (ROI) that our taxes are supposed to be supporting for the PEOPLE, not the government and the rich, to better our lives. Instead, the working-class is supporting the entire lower class while also making the rich richer. Working class members have the shortest end of the stick. I want to rep the working class in our efforts, lower working class costs to meet our true ROI, uplift the lower class, and bridge the class gap.
- Why vote for me? I love teaching. Teachers are some of the best leaders. Education is a top priority of mine. Particularly, the expansion of educational styles available to public school students. I'd love to introduce new forms of education styles within the public school system, such as Montessori, STEM, Entrepreneurial education, for all students, not just a small handful who we put test numbers on and decided are more important. I would love to open the teaching market so that caring adults can begin to apply as full time teachers. I would love if students had more of an input in their educational structures. Educational reform is important to me, and I have suggestions unlike any candidate before me. Children come first.
