May earned her B.S. in criminal justice from Indiana University at South Bend in 1980 and her J.D. from Indiana University at Indianapolis Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1984.[1]
Career
Prior to her appointment to the Indiana Court of Appeals in 1998, May practiced law for 14 years in Evansville, Indiana, with an emphasis on insurance defense and personal injury litigation.[1]
