|- Transparency, Ethics and Accountability in the executive and legislative branches rank dead last in America while hidden records keep us in the dark. Reform of 'Sunshine Laws' Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and passing Legislative Open Records Act (Lora) will shine light on Michigan's Corrupt Government and unelected officials.
- Mental 'Brain' Health Crisis overwhelms us. Proven intervention in schools, medical facilities, churches and law enforcement can teach coping skills to bring hope. Working together can end the 'Stigma of Suicide, Alcoholism, Drug Abuse and Mental Health. Sharing and caring as a team will protect the public and promote 'Healthy Living'.
- Consumer Protection has failed many. The U.P.'s harsh weather is difficult for our vulnerable citizens who spend many months indoors. Homes, schools and businesses are unhealthy from improper repairs, remodeling and lack of ventilation. Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) has to be a priority.

|- Government Ethics, Transparency and Accountability are last in the nation in all three branches of State Government (Executive, Legislative and Judicial). This is atrocious and unacceptable. Our government is inept and ineffective, unable to pass "Sunshine Laws' for a regulated and productive working system in Lansing. I'm dedicated to making our government accountable, standing up for justice and equality for all. I do not accept funding, including political action committee PAC and/or party establishments.
- Consumer Protection has failed many in the Upper Peninsula and throughout Michigan. I will protect our water and air we breathe both outdoors and especially our 'Indoor Air Quality' IAQ. The Upper Peninsula's extreme cold climate forces our most vulnerable citizens inside for many months. some homes and businesses are unhealthy from improper repairs, remodeling, and lack of ventilation. Our children, the elderly and disabled and those with compromised immune systems, especially in subsidized housing, suffer the most. I will use my experiences and ability to work with everyone to assure our resident's homes and our environment are healthy for future generations.
- Mental Health Crisis overwhelms our districts above the bridge. Proven intervention programs within local and state law enforcement, 24 hour county sheriff patrols working with other state departments, schools, medical facilities and churches can teach coping skills and bring hope. HIPAA Rules and Regulations should not hinder this process. These entities can be effective in ending the stigma of Mental Illness, Drug Abuse, Alcoholism and Suicide by sharing and caring as a team to protect the public and promote 'Healthy Living.'
