Members reappointed to the DC Judicial Nomination Commission

Washington, D.C.: Three members of the seven member District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission have been reappointed. Mayor Gray reappointed William Lucy, a vice president of AFL-CIO in Washington and Natalie Ludaway, managing partner of Washington's Leftwich & Ludaway; and the Rev. Morris Shearin Sr., of Israel Baptist Church in Washington was reappointed by the City Council. Lucy was reappointed to serve through 2014, Ludaway through 2016 and Shearin through 2017.[1][2]

In addition to the Mayor and the City Council, the White House appoints one Commission member, the board of governors of the D.C. Bar appoints two members and the chief judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia appoints one member to the JNC.[3]
