Menahan to run for district judge position in 2012

Montana: Lewis and Clark County prosecutor Mike Menahan will run for a seat on the 1st Judicial District Court in the November 2012 election. The position will be opening due to the retirement of Dorothy McCarter. McCarter has served the position since 1989 and will retire at the end of her term in 2012.[1]

Menahan has 17 years of experience serving in the Lewis and Clark County Attorney’s office. He said this "gives him the experience and perspective to ensure that all cases in the District Court are administered in a fair, efficient and expeditious manner."[1]
