Mendocino County Measure G was passed by 58% of Mendocino County's voters in 2000. It allowed anyone to grow as many as 25 marijuana plants for personal use. The state guideline allows six plants per person, for medicinal use only. Backers of Mendocino County Measure B (June 2008) sought, successfully, to repeal Measure G on June 3, 2008.
