A Mendota Unified School District Bond Issue, Measure M ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in the Mendota Unified School District in Fresno County, California. It was approved.
Measure M authorized the district to increase its debt by $15 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount.[1]
A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for the approval of Measure M.

To improve the quality of education without increasing the current tax rate; replace outdated heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems; improve student access to computers and modern technology; modernize classrooms, restrooms, and school facilities; and repair or replace leaky roofs; shall the Mendota Unified School District issue $15,000,000 of bonds at legal interest rates, have an independent citizens' oversight committee and have no money used for administrative or teacher salaries or be taken by the State?[2] |
