Meng Li Che
Meng Li Che is a judge for District 1 of the Washington Court of Appeals Division II. She assumed office on December 1, 2022. Her current term ends on January 11, 2027.
Che ran in a special election for the District 1 judge of the Washington Court of Appeals Division II. She won in the special general election on November 7, 2023.
Gov. Jay Inslee (D) appointed Che to the court of appeals on November 23, 2022, to replace Judge Lisa Worswick.[1]
Biography
Che earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego and a law degree from Seattle University School of Law.[1]
Prior to her appointment to the court, Che worked as an assistant chief industrial appeals judge at the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals.[1]
