This measure sought to add to the current Health department levy by a rate of $.06 per $100 of assessed property value for a period of five years in order to further pay for current expenses of the health department.[2]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
An additional tax for the benefit of the Mercer County - Celina City Health Department for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding six tenths of a mill (0.6) for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to six cents ($0.06) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3] |
