This measure sought to restore the headlee tax amount to 5 mills for up to six years. The current levy was 4.2 mills and a majority yes vote would have restored the full 5 mill amount. Maintaining the current level of services and operations in the township was the main purpose of seeking the full 5 mill levy amount.[2]
