Meryl D. Wilson

Meryl D. Wilson is the chief judge for the Twenty-First Judicial District in Kansas. He joined the court in 1997 and was appointed chief judge in 2012.[1] He was most recently retained in 2014 for a term that expired on January 13, 2019.[2]

Wilson was retained to District 21 with 78 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [2]
2010
Wilson was retained to the district court with 74.2% of the vote in 2010.[3]

Education
Wilson received his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and his J.D. from Washburn University.[4]
Career
Prior to his elevation to the bench in 1997, Wilson was in private practice. He was named chief judge of the Kansas Twenty-First Judicial District in June 2012, replacing retired judge Paul E. Miller in that position.[5]
