I am 38 years old and have lived in Georgia since 2012. I have two children, aged 9 and 12 (4th and 7th grade), and a wife who is currently finishing up graduate school to become a librarian. I love books, I love freedom, and I love the USA. I was born in Michigan, grew up in California, went to college in Upstate New York, and moved to Georgia for my first job in the battery industry. After working as a battery engineer for many years, I returned to school at the University of North Georgia and earned an MBA. I currently work at GE Vernova as a Director of Product Management, leading the development of Battery Energy Storage Systems to store renewable energy and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.
  • The AI boom is here, and regulation desperately needs to catch up to enable us to properly utilize this tool, and protect us from those that might use it for nefarious acts or greed at the expense of Georgia's working class. I plan to introduce legislation on an AI bill of rights for Georgians, covering issues like Datacenter Utility cost sharing (i.e. make them pay for all of it), worker protections for those whose jobs are 'replaced' by AI, and protections for Georgians to opt out of allowing their online work be used for AI training without their permission.
  • Inflation under the Trump administration has skyrocketed. There are larger, federal level influences at play, but Georgia can do something about it for those living within it's borders. I plan to introduce legislation to reduce 'regressive' taxes like sales tax and increase income taxes on those making over $200,000 individually or $400,000 for married couples filing jointly. Those that make more, should pay more. In addition, I will advocate for raising the minimum wage to a true, living wage, using a phased approach, and pegging the minimum wage to inflation, rising automatically each year. I will also look to put severe restrictions on corporate ownership of single family homes.
  • Do you feel safe bringing a child to full term in Georgia? Do you feel safe knowing that your daughters may be denied life-saving care due to a non-sense law restricting their rights? I certainly do not, and I intend to fight hard to get this fixed and save the lives of our mothers, sisters, and daughters. Healthcare should be between a woman and her doctor, and intrusive government policy has no place here.
Energy and technology policy are my passion, as that is my main expertise, but I also care deeply about smart taxation and voting rights.
