Mia Mason is a retired Veteran, Friend, and Advocate fighting to restore equity and equality for our communities. She is dedicated to supporting Marylanders in their concerns for better Education, Infrastructure, and Healthcare. She is devoted to helping students in hardships end their student debts, believes in protecting our environmental infrastructures, and building upon the ACA for Medicare for All.

My vision for our future is centered around improving the quality of life for all citizens. This means protecting the environment, securing social security, healthcare, disability benefits, the rights of women, veterans' care, making improvements to infrastructure, and our educational system.

We need good-paying jobs, sustainable agricultural development, and green solutions for a more robust, cleaner, and safer environment for everyone to enjoy. I believe in developing policies that strengthen families, not tear them apart. Our immigration system needs a transformation to keep up with our evolving society, not more detention centers.
  • As a Veteran we're continuing our fight for our communities to represent them wholeheartedly. We're their to support the passage of policies that support our communities not endanger them. We look forward to building a more robust educational system for Marylanders, even if it means federal funding to help it's passage for the Governor.
  • As a Friend for the Land, we know the Environment is vital for protection, as our shore deliver the food or goods from the bay and ocean. Therefore, we must ensure it's clean for generations to come with strong commitments to clean act and clean water. This will also provide full pathways for renewables as replacement to fossil fuels with a increase in battery storage technologies. We can also approve and endorse wind, solar, and new nuclear options to ensure our energy needs are met for the next century without fossil fuels.
  • As an Advocate it is our Legacy to ensure to we fight for others first who are in need of better healthcare, by restoring the equity and equality throughout the system. American's should not be paying ala carte price for healthcare. We will advocate for Medicare for All to ensure all ages, existing conditions, disabilities and medications are covered through Medicare for All at an affordable price.
I'm very passionate about our Civil Rights, Education, and Healthcare. I'm vasty concern about our Marylanders losing their jobs because employers leave the state for better incentives or close the doors altogether. As a Marylander, we must provide a means for our residents to keep their land and their legacy within Maryland. The opportunities for building our future is through new infrastructure and advancing new technologies. These will help Marylanders stay residents so they can exercise their voting power below 2020. Marylanders should vote for their land and legacy, because our Civil Rights, Education, and Healthcare are dependent on it. We state these concerns due to the Incumbents voting history against these issues above, his votes against women in Maryland, his votes against our Veterans, and his votes against equity and equality for LGBT Candidates like me: Mia Mason.
I have two recommendations: "The House of Morgan" and "An Unfinished Life." House of Morgan's is about the foundational work of its legacy and what it became of it, while the other is about JFK and how their lives changed the family legacy.
The first historical event I clearly remember and living through was Hurricane Hugo. Comparing Hugo to current storms today, I have to say climate change plays a big part in the strength of them all. I remember visiting the docks at the city park when I was nine having the water levels far below the docks. Now, the docks are gone because the water rose above them, they have since been replaced with floating docking.
I started my first three jobs being a warehouse stocker in the evening, a storekeeper in a restaurant in the mid-mornings, and a line cook in the evenings. These places were BJ's wholesale, Morrisons Cafeteria, and Golden Corral. However, I worked these jobs during the summer after high school until I joined the United States Navy for Ten Years plus my actual first jobs for a career. My Navy career included memorial places of duty onboard USS Kitty Hawk CV-63 and USS Bataan LHD-5. While onboard, we traveled overseas and stateside to help others from the first days of 9/11, the kick-off for wars in Afganistan and Iraq, and later helping after Hurricane Katrina. To continue the military career, I went Army became infantry and served twice in Afghanistan again. In 2013, I joined the DC National Guard and retired in 2018 after completing 20 years of which included 15 years of active duty service.
A Representative reflects the community, not a state of government held by the governor. We provide the legislation avenue for our constituents to help our Country via states, districts, and cities they live in on the issues they care about most.
Our greatest challenges will have to be restoring our relationships built aboard that have been put in harm's way via tweet, phone calls, and press conferences. We hope to restore valuable relationships with our allies around the globe. The second greatest challenge is ensuring our communities across the United States have the jobs and pay they need to also keep our trade market flowing for America to our allies. The third biggest challenge is tackling Healthcare with Medicare for All, a system to built on ACA for all ages at an affordable price to cover pre-existing conditions, disabilities, and medications. The last challenge will be to end all the legal battles for our communities nationwide that involve their Civil Rights. We seek passage of the ERA fully to ensure everyone within our borders are protected regardless of nation of origin, race, color, religion, or sex for all titles of USC.
If acceptable I have an interest for our Armed Services, Energy and Commerce, Natural Resources, Science, Space & Technology, Veterans Affair, or Intelligence
yes, it is a tradition and custom per the laws in the constitution.
