Miami Township Waste District Tax Levy (November 2012)
A Miami Township Waste District tax levy was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Hamilton County, Ohio, where it was defeated.[1]
If approved, this measure would have replaced a tax levy of 1.25 mills and increase a tax levy of 1.25 mills for waste collection for a continuing period of time. This measure commences in 2012 to be first due in 2013.

Text of the Measure
Language on the ballot:
“ | A replacement of 1.25 mills of an existing levy and an increase of 1.25 mills to constitute a tax for the benefit of Miami
Township Waste District, County of Hamilton, Ohio, for the purpose of WASTE COLLECTION at a rate not exceeding two and five-tenths (2.5) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty-five cents ($0.25) for each one hundred dollars in valuation, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[1][2] |
