I am a devout Christian who believes in small, limited government as outlined in the U.S. Constitution. I was born and raised in Alabama. I have served in both the Alabama Army National Guard as a signal officer and as a sworn police officer in Columbus, Georgia. I am married to my beautiful wife, Jessica, and have been for five years. I am a private pilot, I also own a small business where I capture weddings on video in a cinematic way. I believe in fewer taxes, better education, and more freedom.
  • I want fewer taxes by eliminating the 2019 Gas Tax, ending Alabama State Income tax for first responses, teachers, national guardsmen, and healthcare workers.
  • I want better education be repealing the 2009 education standards that are Common Core in disguise, focus state education funds on English/Reading, Math, Science, and History. I also want to stop pushing kids into the next grade or class when they failed the last one.
  • I want more freedom by passing Constitutional Carry, banning federal and state vaccine mandates, removing the Certificate of Needs Board, and curbing the Emergency Powers of the Governor.
I am passionate about the 2nd Amendment, the Constitution, and removing taxes and red tape for businesses and people.
I look up to my father. He has dedicate his life to service both in the church, in the fire department, and thirty-eight years of serving our country and our state in the National Guard. He has many great qualities to emulate.

I would like to follow the example of George Washington, being humble in his profession and dedicated to the Cause of liberty.
To represent the people of their district to the best of their ability, to never bend to the lobbyist, special interest groups, or anyone else in direct conflict with the will of the people, and to never compromise on their duty to uphold the Constitution.
The restoration of our rights through the limitation of government.
I remember the 2000 new year celebration but the earliest historical event that really sticks out is 9/11. I watched it live on TV as both towers fell, being seven years old I didn't understand everything that was happening but the reactions from my parents told me enough. I won't ever forget that.
Assistant Repairman for Pickett Enterprises. I maintained it for three years.
Lord of the Rings Trilogy, its technically six books put into three but I cannot choose a favorite. The reason is because the message matches that with Christianity and shows the difficulty of life during hard times while showing how everyday folks can overcome adversity.
Battle Belongs by Phil Wickam and Brian Johnson
Finding a purpose that matches my abilities, goals, and lifestyle.
Equal in power, coordination where practical, and communication always.
Our state faces many challenges but I believe education is our primary challenge we must overcome.
Drawbacks of a unicameral state legislature is the same as if it was federal, it allows for a single group of members to decide the law without the counter-balance of the other house. I personally believe State Senators should represent a single county government and the State House should be expanded to equal 1 representative for every 30,000 people. To me, this would allow county governments to have a direct say in the state legislative process while expanding representation to all.
There can be some benefit to know how the process works but there are a lot of drawbacks which may include being bought and paid for, being stuck in a certain direction without seeing what its like on the outside looking in, etc.
It is very beneficial to build relationships with other legislators but that should never, and I mean never, override the will of the people you are representing.
All areas should be equal in population with an attempt at keeping the districts within county lines as much as possible, along roadways as much as possible, and clear for all citizens.
I believe I could do well on the House Judiciary Committee, the House Public Safety Committee, and the House Rules Committee.
I was out door-knocking and spoke to a WW2 veteran, he had many interesting stories to tell me. But, I think probably the most impactful was hearing the tearful story of a woman who lost her son to murder and justice was never served on the one who committed it.
They most definitely should oversee the use of Emergency Powers and be able to quickly nullify any order that violates the Constitution or is overreaching.
Compromise can occur if and only when the compromise does not violate the U.S. Constitution or my deep Christian values.
