Michael A. Gallegos is a judge for the Blount County General Sessions Court in Blount County, Tennessee. Judge Gallegos is based out of Maryville, Tennessee. He was elected to this position on August 3, 2006.[1][2] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires on August 31, 2022.[3]

Education
Gallegos received his undergraduate degree in geography and political science from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1990. He then earned his J.D. degree from the University of Memphis in 1994. He also served in the U.S. Navy Reserve from 1985 to 1993.[1]
Career
Gallegos spent over eleven years as an attorney before his judicial election 2006. For the last nine years of that time, he served as an assistant district attorney.[1]
