Michael A. Robbins
Michael A. Robbins is a judge for the Superior Court of Lawrence County in Indiana. Robbins joined the court in 2002.
Education
Robbins received his B.S. from Indiana University. He received his J.D.from Indiana University's McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Robbins worked in several areas of the law. He worked in private practice from 1972 to 1974. In 1974, he was elected Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney, serving one term. He then returned to private practice until 1983, when he joined his brother, Patrick, in heading ConvaCare Services, Inc. The brothers sold the business in 1999.
Robbins was appointed to the court in 2002, and was elected to a full term in 2006.[2]
2012 election
Robbins ran for re-election against Lewis Maudlin in the 2012 election.[3] He was successful in his bid, receiving 59.8% of the vote.[4]
