Michael Bradley Almond

Michael "Brad" Almond is a Republican and the Place 1 judge on the 6th Circuit Court in Alabama. He was first appointed to the court by Gov. Bob Riley (R) in 2008 to fill a vacancy created by retiring Judge Steve Wilson. Almond was elected to a full term in 2010 and re-elected to a second term in the general election on November 8, 2016.[1]
Biography
Almond attended Barton College in North Carolina for undergraduate studies, and obtained his J.D. from the University of Alabama. He was a private practice attorney at his firm Almond and Cheshire LLC before accepting his appointment to the circuit court in 2008.[2]
