Michael Caldwell (Louisiana)
R. Michael Caldwell was a civil court judge of the 19th Judicial District, Division I in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.[1] He joined the court on January 1, 1997.[2][3][4] Caldwell retired November 1, 2019.[5]

Caldwell ran for re-election to the 19th Judicial District.
Primary: He was elected in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 58.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Randy Piedrahita.[6][4]
Education
Caldwell earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Tulane University and his J.D. from Louisiana State University School of Law.[3]
Career
Caldwell practiced law in Baton Rouge before becoming a district court judge in 1997.[3]
