Before his appointment, Caron was the director of public affairs–global sites for Pfizer, Inc. and an associate lobbyist for the lobbying and business development firm Camilliere, Cloud & Kennedy.[1]

Political career

Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (2012-2025)

Gov. Dan Malloy appointed Caron to serve on the three person regulatory authority on July 12, 2012, and he was confirmed by the state legislature in 2013.[1] The legislature re-appointed Caron in 2018.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; name cannot be a simple integer. Use a descriptive title

Connecticut House of Representatives (1991-2009)

Caron served as a state representative from the 44th District for nine terms from 1991 to 2009 and as the Assistant Republican Leader for five terms from 1999 to 2009.[1]
