My name is Michael "Mike" Chehab. I grew up on a dirt road in Warren, MI and son of working class parents who didn't have much money. I graduated from Sterling Heights High School and began my collegiate career at Wayne State University where I majored in Political Science. I then graduated from Wayne State University is a Bachelors in Political Science as Magna Cum Laude. In efforts to pursue my dream, to be an advocate to the working class, to alleviate suffering, and to create the most benefit to society, I went into law school. I obtained my Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit School of Law as Cum Laude. While there, I also served on the National Moot Court Team and Law Review.
  • In Lansing, I will be a solider for my constituents, as all of your voices matter!
  • I want to give power back to the people
  • I can work day and night to get things done and if elected my constituents will see massive changes in our district for the better

An elected official should be eager to listen and slow to speak. What I mean is that, many elected officials don't take the time to actually hear their constituents concerns. Of course they will have their coffee town hall meetings, but majority of the time, no resolution. So for me, a great elected official takes the time to understand the conditions and provide constructive plans to mitigate them.

They should be attentive, soldiers of the people, fighters for the working class, and be a strong voice in position.
I believe every citizen who has a desire to enrich their communities by running for public office should. We must understand that things can't happen overnight and there will be obstacles to overcome. So yes it is beneficial to have prior experience, however, fresh ideas, desire, willingness to get your hands dirty can amount to much more.
