Michael Collins (Maryland)
Michael Collins was a Republican candidate for District 11 of the Maryland House of Delegates. The primary election was on September 14, 2010, and the general election was on November 2.
Elections
Collins ran against Carol Byrd, William Badore, Gregory Prush, Alberto Halphen and Steven Smith in the September 14 primary. In the general election, the three winners faced the three winners of the Democratic primary - Jon Cardin (incumbent), Dan Morhaim (incumbent) and Dana Stein (incumbent). Brandon Brooks ran in the general election as a Libertarian candidate.
Collins lost in the general election on November 2, 2010, coming in fourth. All three seats in the district were up for election.[1]
