Michael Davis (Florida judge)

Michael Davis is a judge on the Seventeenth Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed to this position on April 3, 2020, by Governor Ron DeSantis to replace Anuraag Singhal.[1]
Prior to his appointment to the circuit court, Davis was a county judge in the South Satellite Divisions of the Broward County Court of Florida. He was appointed to the position by Gov. Rick Scott (R) on May 23, 2016, to fill the vacancy created by Eric Beller's resignation in March 2016.[2]
Biography
Davis earned a bachelor's degree from Stony Brook University and his J.D. from Hofstra University. Davis served as a senior assistant attorney general from 2014 until his appointment to the bench in 2016. From 2012 to 2014, he previously worked as a senior child best interest attorney with the Florida Guardian Ad Litem Program.[2]
