Campaign website

Doyle's campaign website stated the following:

Mike wants to disrupt the political class in Washington by bringing these commonsense solutions to DC

  • Stop the out-of-control spending that is driving up prices at the grocery store
  • Produce our own natural gas and oil and not remain dependent on our enemies for our energy and goods. Energy Independence IS National Security
  • Deliver a best-in-class education by empowering parents and putting them in charge of their children's education
  • Secure our border to stop the flow of drugs and fentanyl into our region
  • Fight for policies that encourage jobs to come to our region and restore our communities
  • Support our police and first responders as they protect our communities
  • Restore American leadership in the world by supporting our military and not backing down in the face of threats from despots and dictators[2]
—Michael Doyle's campaign website (2022)[3]

2012

Doyle's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[4]

Creating New Jobs and Growing the Economy

  • Excerpt: "Pennsylvania ranks 49th in job growth. At the same time the Tax Foundation says Pennsylvania is 2nd highest in corporate business taxes in the Country. It should not surprise us that when we constantly punish the men and women who create jobs that those people will take their jobs elsewhere."

Bringing Accountability and Ethics Reform to Harrisburg

  • Excerpt: "Those who have been in office for years and years seem to think that the people of Pennsylvania will just follow them blindly as they vote themselves pay raises, perks and take liberties with the office in which they have been entrusted."

Bringing Fiscal Responsibility Back to State Government

  • Excerpt: "Harrisburg should run more like a business and more like an average Pennsylvania family - with a focus on the bottom line and not spending more than comes in each month. Politicians view the taxpayers as their own personal checkbook. We need to set priorities and focus on the big picture when it comes to spending."
