Michael E. McGinty is a judge for the 9th Judicial Circuit in Virginia. He was elected to the court by the Virginia General Assembly in May 2012 to an eight-year term, which commenced on July 1, 2012 and expires in 2020.[1][2]
Education
McGinty received his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph's University and his J.D. from the College of William and Mary.[3]
Career
Before he joined the 9th Judicial Circuit, McGinty served as a district court judge on the 9th Judicial District.[1]
