Michael E. Wagner
Michael E. Wagner is a judge of the Michigan 36th District Court. His current term ends on January 1, 2027.
Wagner ran for re-election for judge of the Michigan 36th District Court. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Wagner was appointed to the court by Governor Rick Snyder on November 23, 2011, to replace George Chatman.[1][2] On November 4, 2014, Wagner was re-elected unopposed for a full six-year term.[3]
Biography
Education
Wagner received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his J.D. degree from the Wayne State University Law School.[2]
Career
Wagner served in the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office from 1992 until his appointment to the 36th District Court in 2011.[2]
