I am a proud father, Special Forces veteran and conservative businessman. The events of September 11th, 2001 inspired me to join the US Army where I became a Special Forces officer (Green Beret), serving two combat tours in Iraq. I earned an Army Commendation Medal with Valor, two Bronze Stars, several Army Commendation medals and the Combat Infantryman Badge.

After my service, I went on to earn my MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where I graduated with honors. In 2016, I also served on the Trump Presidential Transition Team, with a focus on national security, before relocating to Texas with my wife and three young sons. I am currently a Vice President at JP Morgan Chase.

I’m proud to have devoted years of my life to protecting the people of Texas and the USA. I’m running for Congress because I’m a tested leader called to serve my fellow Texan in the fight to take back Congress and restore the conservative, all-American ideals passed down by our nation’s founders and preserved by generations of patriotic men and women in uniform.

  • I’m a fighter and a patriot, not a career politician: At a time when Democrats control both house of Congress and the White House, the people of Texas’ 6th Congressional District deserve a proven fighter and leader, not another career politician. I might be new to elected politics, but I’m a battle-tested veteran when it comes to standing up for America and conservative values.
  • Our unifying, patriotic American values are under assault. In Congress, I will be relentless in their defense. Under Nancy Pelosi’s leadership, Democrats are working to undermine the basic American and Constitutional values that once bound together a nation, despite party differences. But ahistorical teachings popular among the far-left and coastal elites such as “critical race theory” and “defund the police” are designed to undermine the intellectual roots of American democracy and patriotism. I will never cease to defend American Exceptionalism and the patriotic principles that make us the envy of the world.
  • I will protect small businesses and American workers from threat foreign and domestic. I am not afraid to stand up to China's economic aggression which has wreaked havoc and our nation's working class. I am certainly not afraid to stand up to the Democrats and their out-of-touch elite supporters seeking to destroy the oil and gas sector and other businesses through burdensome taxation and job-killing regulation.
In addition to the issues enumerated above, I am passionate about maters of national and economic security, including the following:

1. Economic Opportunity: Economic policies, such as tax cuts and deregulations, designed to strengthen small businesses and working and middle-class Americans.

2. Gun Rights: Defending the Constitutional right to bear arms. A principle vital to the defense of our nation and our families.

3. Freedom of Religion: Protecting people of faith from the ongoing anti-religious assault by secular elites.

4. Veterans: Honoring the commitment we make to our fighting men and women once they return home and are discharged from their service.

5. Property Rights: Defending American landowners from government land grabs and Constitutionally questionable uses of eminent domain.

6. No Iran Nuclear Deal: Donald Trump did a great thing for America, its regional allies, and lovers of freedom and democracy the world over a favor when he ended the calamitous Iran Nuclear Deal (JCPOA). I will work to ensure that the Iran Deal stays dead, and the Ayatollah never again receives an airplane filled with American money that can be used to fund terror around the world.

7. Building a Military Ready to Defeat 21st Century Threats: We need to continue to not only rebuild our military, but to ensure it is prepared to take on the emerging national security threats. If action is not taken, we run the risk of living in a world where Chinese military prog
1. INTEGRITY: More than anything, we need elected representatives who possess the values we ought to demand of our leaders. First among those are morality and unflagging dedication to the virtues and principles that make America and Texas great.

2. COURAGE: Courage is not that should be confined to the battlefields. Too often conservatives have been let down by their representatives in Washington because they lacked the political courage to take on the tough fights and risk upsetting special interests or losing votes. I have the courage to always put my constituents and my values first, even if if means jeopardizing my own career or my standing among Washington elites.
The legacy of a fighter, who always got things done for the people of his district.

My goal is not to be the most famous Congressman. My goal is not to be the Congressman with the most air time on Fox News. I do not aspire to have my name on the fanciest bills or buildings.

I am running because I truly believe I have what it takes to make life better for the people of the 6th District. By remaining relentless in my defense of the Constitution and my pursuit of a more perfect union, rooted in conservative principles, I pray that years from now, citizens of this district will be able to point to victories big and small that helped make their lives better in some tangible way.

That would be a legacy I could be proud of. And one I'd be honored to pass on to my boys.
I remember the fall of the Berlin wall when I was 9 years old. While I was not old enough to comprehend the full context or the implications of that event, I remember the overwhelming sense of relief in my community that the threat of communism was diminishing and the cold war with the Soviet Union was ending.
Conscience of a Conservative by Barry Goldwater. It clearly articulates the fundamentals of American Conservatism which heavily influenced my political views.
Rising global influence and aggression from Communist China.

For too long, our politicians and our businesses were content to view China as a 'paper tiger' and cozy up the Communist regime in an effort to access China's massive, growing consumer market.

However, it is not clear that China does not merely aspire to be a leading economy. Rather, they seek to impose their anti-democratic agenda on the rest of the world and usurp American global leadership.

This is a threat not only to our Asian allies, but our American ideals, and more urgently, American workers.

This is a fight that will span many fronts and take many years. We need leaders motivated by a transcendent love of country, rather than short-term business or political self-interest to take the mantle and lead America in this fight that will shape the fate of our nation and the world.
Yes, I believe the two-year election cycle helps keep elected representatives accountable to their constituents, upon whom they depend for reelection.

To many politicians, even those starting with good intentions, become corrupted by self-interest and access to power, and lose sight of their true obligations. Frequent elections forces candidates back home to face the constituents who not only elected them, but pay their salaries.

When Uncle Sam sent me overseas to fight in defense of this nation, I never lost sight that I was fighting for the safety of my family and my neighbors. In the corrupting halls of Congress, I will remain anchored to Texas' 6th District, and never stop fighting for my constituents.
Sen. Tom Cotton.

He and I served together in the Old Guard, the elite regiment responsible for performing funeral services for our military heroes and guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Then, and now, I was impressed by his potent mix of patriotism, intelligence, and willingness to take on the toughest fights. In the House, and now in the Senate, these traits have made him a leading conservative champion, despite his relatively junior tenure.

I believe that he and I are cut from similar cloth, and even as a first term Congressman, I am confident that my experience and skills will enable me to wield considerable influence, to the benefit of my constituents.
