|After graduating from high school, I immediately enlisted in the U.S. Air Force to pursue a career that would allow me to become an innovative leader, continue my love of learning, and serve my country. As an alumnus of Park University, VA Tech, Norfolk State, and UVA, I’ve always valued and understood the importance of traditional and nontraditional education. After 20 years of service in the Air Force in the health care management/IT career field, including overseas missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and South Korea, I knew the best place to retire from the military and start my next phase as a cybersecurity entrepreneur was back home in Virginia Beach. With the creation of the new 97th House District, I’m stepping forward again for my second service to provide a fresh voice and continue serving the community I love.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
