I don't think do. That's why I'm running. Any person who has the desire to serve his or her community should be able too.

Our education. Our reading levels are terrible. We owe it to the kids to give them the best education so they can be successful. Taking care of our elderly. We are living longer lives. More people are developing Alzeimer's Disease, Dementia and Parkinson's Disease. If we don't act now we will bankrupt our state within 20 years.

Both sitting legislators and candidates for office hear many personal stories from the residents of their district. Is there a story that you’ve heard that you found particularly touching, memorable, or impactful?
A homeowner asked me if I wanted to come one one her home. It was very cold out. She and her son were there doing his homework. She made me tea. We chatted for about 15 minutes. As I was walking out the door she says " I'm glad we talked. I feel better knowing you. Since I voted for you last week." What a great way to end my day of door knocking.
