Biography

Michael Gaynor was born in Springfield, Massachusetts. He earned a high school diploma from Agawam High School, a bachelor's degree from the University of Saint Mary in 2024, and degrees from California Coast University in 2019 and 2024. His career experience includes working as a laborer in manufacturing.

I’m a candidate seeking realignment of government and the people. I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Saint Mary with a degree in Computer Information Systems

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

• Not a fan of career politics
• Reunification is key
• We, as Representatives need to work as a whole, no more party separation

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Growth and development of business opportunities within District 4

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

My brother and, my father(RIP). They are both great individuals that inspired me to move past the wrongs and look to a brighter tomorrow

Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?

Not every man/woman can change the world but, every man/woman should try - JFK

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Party alignment isn’t needed, our policies should be for the betterment of the United States not party affiliation

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

Compassion, I’ve lived a life that gave me the ability to see two perspectives

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Enact new policies for the betterment of our society and, protect the rights of our constituents

A greater future for our children and better educational opportunities for our future

Absolutely

The Constitution says that all bills for raising revenue must originate in the House. What role would this power play in your priorities if elected?

First and foremost I would speak for the people, if my district feels it’s in the best interest of them, I’d approve; if not I’d decline
