Michael Gerstein
Michael Gerstein is a judge for the New York City Criminal Court of Kings County, New York. He was elected to the civil court and assigned to the criminal court in 2006.[1] He was re-elected in 2015.[2][3]
Education
Gerstein received his J.D. from the New York University School of Law.[1]
Career
Gerstein worked as an attorney in private practice prior to his judicial election in 2006.[1]

Gerstein's seat was on the ballot in 2019 due to the state's constitutional age limit for judges. A new judge was chosen for the seat on November 5, 2019.[4]
