Michael Gordon (Arizona)

Gordon ran for re-election for judge of the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
Gordon was appointed to the court by Gov. Janet Napolitano (D) in October 2005.[1]
Biography
Michael Gordon received an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and a J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law. He worked as a trial and appellate counsel for the Federal Public Defender's Office in Phoenix. Gordon had also worked as an associate attorney for Quarles & Brady, an assistant professor of law at the University of Mississippi School of Law, a visiting associate professor of law at the civil law school clinic of Arizona State University, and adjunct professor at Arizona State University's College of Law and the University of Arizona's College of Law, as an associate at Lewis & Roca.[2]
