Michael Griffin (Democratic Party) was a member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 1. He assumed office on February 7, 2022. He left office on November 9, 2022.

Griffin (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Indiana State Senate to represent District 1. He lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Griffin was appointed to replace Frank Mrvan (D), who resigned in January 2022.[1]

Biography

Michael Griffin lives in Highland, Indiana.[1] Griffin earned a B.A. in political science and religious studies from Indiana University at Bloomington and an M.P.A. in public management from Indiana University Northwest. His career experience includes working as an adjunct instructor with Indiana University Northwest and the clerk-treasurer of the Town of Highland. Griffin served on the board of Leadership Northwest Indiana and as the treasurer of the Indiana University Northwest Alumni Association board of directors.[2]
