Michael Hanrahan is a judge for Branch 4 of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. He assumed office in 2016. His current term ends on August 1, 2029.
Hanrahan ran for re-election for the Branch 4 judge of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. He won in the general election on April 4, 2023.
Hanrahan was appointed to the court by Gov. Scott Walker (R) on February 18, 2016, to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Mel Flanagan.[1]
Biography
Hanrahan earned his bachelor's degree from Harvard University. He later received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Hanrahan was a partner at Fox, O'Neill & Shannon from 2001 to 2016.[1]

Nonpartisan primary election
The primary election was canceled. Incumbent Michael Hanrahan advanced from the primary for Milwaukee County Circuit Court Branch 4.
2017
Wisconsin held local judicial elections in 2017. Forty-eight circuit court seats were up for election on April 4, 2017. Three seats required primaries on February 21, 2017, with the top two vote recipients for each seat advancing to the April 4 general election. Thirty-seven seats up for election in 2017 were unopposed.[2] Incumbent Michael Hanrahan ran unopposed in the general election for the Branch 4 seat on the Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
