Michael Hoyt (Vermont)
Michael Hoyt (Democratic Party) is a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Windsor-4 District. He assumed office on December 2, 2025. His current term ends on January 6, 2027.
Phil Scott (R) appointed Hoyt to the Vermont House of Representatives Windsor 4 District on December 2, 2025, to replace Heather Surprenant (D).
Biography
Michael Hoyt earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont and a law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School. His career experience includes working at Dartmouth College, serving on the Hartford Selectboard, and serving as an attorney for the Vermont Legislature and the Vermont Department of Labor.[1]
