Michael J. Griffin
Michael J. Griffin was a judge on the Second Judicial District, covering Clearwater, Lewis, and Idaho counties in Idaho.[1] He was elected to the court in 2010 and re-elected in May 2014 for a term that was to expire in January 2019.[2][3] However, Griffin retired before the end of his last term on January 6, 2015.[4][5]

Griffin won election to the Idaho 2nd Judicial District in 2010, with 63.6% of the vote. He defeated opponent Edwin Litteneker.[6]

Education
Griffin received his undergraduate degree from South Dakota State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Idaho.[7]
Career
Before his election to the court in 2010, Griffin served as a magistrate for Idaho County from 1982 to 2008.[5]
