Michael J. McQuillen
Michael McQuillen (Republican Party) was a member of the Indianapolis City Council, representing District 4. McQuillen assumed office in 2008. McQuillen left office on January 1, 2020.
McQuillen (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Indianapolis City Council to represent District 4. McQuillen lost in the general election on November 5, 2019.
He was elected to the District 12 seat on the council in 2007, and won election to the District 4 seat on November 3, 2015.[1]
Biography
McQuillen is from Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Perry Meridian High School in 1983, and received a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Indianapolis in 1987. McQuillen is an antiques and collectibles dealer. He and his wife own, PoliticalParade.com, a business specializing in political memorabilia.[1]

2015
The city of Indianapolis, Indiana, held elections for mayor and city council on November 3, 2015. A partisan primary election took place on May 5, 2015. The filing deadline for major party candidates who wished to run in this election was February 6, 2015. The filing deadline for independent or minor party candidates was July 15, 2015.[2] Twenty-five city council seats were up for election. Indianapolis's four at-large seats were not up for election, because those seats were scheduled to expire at the end of 2015.[3]
In the Republican primary election for District 4, Michael J. McQuillen ran unopposed. In the Democratic primary, Raymond Jason Biederman also ran unopposed. McQuillen defeated Biederman in the general election.[4] Incumbent Christine Scales (R) ran for election to the District 3 seat.[5]
