Michael Murphy was a member of the Milwaukee Common Council in Wisconsin, representing District 10. He assumed office in 1989. He left office on April 16, 2024.

Murphy ran for re-election to the Milwaukee Common Council to represent District 10 in Wisconsin. He won in the general election on April 7, 2020.


On February 11, 2014, the Milwaukee Common Council appointed Murphy to serve as council president.[1]
