Michael J. Zalewski (Democratic Party) was a member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 23. He assumed office in 2009. He left office on January 11, 2023.

Zalewski (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives to represent District 21. He lost in the Democratic primary on June 28, 2022.

Biography

Zalewski earned his B.A. in political science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from John Marshall Law School. His professional experience includes working as a Prosecutor in the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.[1]

Zalewski won re-election to the 21st District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. He defeated Terrence Collins in the Democratic primary on February 2nd by a margin of 8,951 to 3,420. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[13]
