Michael J. Zalewski (Democratic Party) was a member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 23. He assumed office in 2009. He left office on January 11, 2023.
Zalewski (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives to represent District 21. He lost in the Democratic primary on June 28, 2022.
Biography
Zalewski earned his B.A. in political science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from John Marshall Law School. His professional experience includes working as a Prosecutor in the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.[1]

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
