I am a Constitutional conservative. The document was carefully written and constructed. Words have meaning, “interpretation” is done to change the meaning of what was written.

I believe strong families build strong communities. Most of the greatest substantial changes in economic development have come from a single person working alone. I believe there are doers and watchers, I am the former. Government has no business regulating energy, business, or anything else for that matter. The Constitution was written and adopted to restrict government, all government.

For much to long ‘We the people’ have been bullied by government overreach into our lives. It needs to stop and our freedoms must be restored.
Saint Patrick is my patron Saint. He is the patron Saint of Engineers.
As a successful civil engineer my career has spanned decades. I have worked with tribal, local, county, state and military entities, sometimes all at once.

My District has pressing issues to resolve that have been kicked down the road for too long. I will use my skill set to arrange for the necessary projects to be implemented as quickly as possible.
Educational Choice for the State of Hawaii.
Hardware, houseware department, KMart in Tucson, AZ for two years.
There are many for various reasons.
The Governor’s office in the State of Hawaii is the ultimate concentration of political power.
Restoring voter confidence. Deregulation to grow small business. Fixing the building permit process.
I am not in favor of career politicians but a working knowledge of the political process is beneficial.
Building relationships are essential to any local, state or federal successful politician. Everyone brings different perspectives to the table.
This is a story about a woman who walked into a bridal shop who told the sales clerk that she was looking for a wedding gown for her fourth wedding. The clerk asked exactly what type of dress are you looking for? A long flowing white dress with a veil she responded with assurance. Not totally convinced, but afraid to offend the woman, the sales lady said you know a dresses of that nature are usually more appropriate for first time brides, for those a bit more innocent, if you know what I mean. Well, the lady retorted, despite all my marriages I remain as pure as a first time bride.

My first husband was a dear, sweet man. It was a terrible tragedy actually. All the excitement of the wedding was simply too much for him and he died as we checked into the hotel on our wedding night. My second husband and I got into a terrible fight in the limo on the way to the reception. We haven’t spoken since and got the marriage quickly annulled.
What about the third?

He was a Democrat and every night for four years he just sat in the edge of the bed and told me how good it was going to be.
Yes, they should have. Nothing was done to prevent countless proclamations and mandates that started in 2020. The Legislature did have the power to intercede but chose not to.

An example of the lack of transparency and accountability was the decades long use of the unconstitutional Gut and Replace, killing bills in Committee behind closed doors. I will not vote in favor of any bill that has written a/o verbal overwhelming opposition public testimony.
