Michael Kane (Massachusetts)
Michael Kane is a former Democratic member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the Fifth Hampden District from 2001 to 2013.
Kane represented Ward 5 on the Holyoke City Council from 1996-2000.
He is a member of the Holyoke Boys and Girls Club, Holyoke Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA), and the Saint Patrick Parade Committee.[1]

Kane ran for re-election to the Fifth Hampden seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the September 14 primary. He also faced no opposition in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3]

On November 4, 2008, Kane won re-election for the Massachusetts House of Representatives election for the Fifth Hampden district.[4] In this election he raised $57,423-; of that total $54,722- (95.3%) was from in state contributions and $2,700- (4.7%) was from out of state contributions.[5]
