Biography
Karickhoff earned his B.S. in Recreation and Park Administration from the University of Missouri. His professional experience includes working as facilities director of Ivy Tech Community College head of the Kokomo, IN Parks and Recreation Department, Assistant Director and Director of the Hannibal, MO Parks and Recreation Department.

Karickhoff received endorsements from Indiana Manufacturers Association, Inc,[9] Indiana Chamber of Commerce,[10] the NFIB,[11] Indiana Right to Life,[12] Indiana Multi Family Housing,[13] and the Realtor Political Action Committee,[14].[15]

Karickhoff defeated Democratic incumbent Ron Herrell by a margin of 8,388 to 7,570 in the November 2 general election.[16]
In the May 4 primary election, Karickhoff ran unopposed and received 4,159 votes. [17]
