Michael Kenny O'Keefe was a judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He was nominated on March 19, 2013 by President Barack Obama. O'Keefe succeeds Joan Z. McAvoy on the court.[1][2] He left office in 2023 after retiring.

On March 19, 2013, President Obama nominated O'Keefe to a post on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia to fill the vacancy left by Joan Z. McAvoy.[3] Obama commented on the nomination, stating, "Throughout their careers, these nominees have displayed unwavering commitment to justice and integrity. Their records are distinguished and impressive and I am confident that they will serve the American people well from the bench of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. I am honored to nominate them today. "[1]

O'Keefe attended the University of Notre Dame, earning his B.A. before earning his J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law.[1]
