Michael L. D'Amico
Michael L. D'Amico was a judge of the Erie County Court in New York. He joined the court in 1987, following his election. He was re-elected in 1996 and 2006, and he retired in 2015.[1][2]
Education
D'Amico received his B.A. and J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1967 and 1970, respectively.[2]
Career
D'Amico began his career in 1970 as the chief criminal deputy and undersheriff of the Erie County Sheriff's Department. He then worked briefly in 1977 as a confidential law clerk to Hon. M. Dolores Denman. From 1977 to 1986, he was a partner of the law firm of Denman, D'Amico and Dorn. He then joined the county court in 1987. He has also taught as an adjunct professor of the S.U.N.Y. Buffalo School of Law.[2]
