Michael L. Haines
Michael L. Haines was a 2012 independent candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Nevada.
Haines was defeated by Republican incumbent Mark Amodei on November 6, 2012.[1]
Biography
Haines was born in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1968, and graduated from Saddleback High School in Santa Ana, California in 1986. He started his career as an automotive parts driver, eventually opening his own business, Haines Auto Transport, in 2008.[2]

Haines ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Nevada's 2nd District. Haines ran as an independent candidate. He was defeated by Mark Amodei.
